The National Weather Service is predicting an above-normal hurricane “season” this year for the Atlantic Basin. According to their outlook, there is a 70 percent likelihood that activity will exceed the seasonal average. Forecasters are predicting 3 to 6 major hurricanes rated 3,4 or 5 with winds of 111 mph or higher. I know, you are thinking when was the last time a hurricane made its way to Massachusetts?
